The underside of the foot is completely flat (no groove).This foot is beneficial when crossing intersecting seams and working with bulky fabrics such as fleece and includes 3 tape guides, a 6mm guide for overlocking only, a 9mm guide for coverstitch and a 14mm which will feed to either sets of needles.
